🇳🇿 Farewell to a true Kiwi icon. Sir Tim Shadbolt, the former Mayor of Invercargill and Waitematā, has passed away at the age of 78. From his days as a student activist and concreter to becoming one of New Zealand’s longest-serving mayors, Sir Tim was a "champion for the underdog" who devoted his life to serving his community.
