Based in Auckland, this Solo tribute project recreates the unique sonic experience of The Church's extensive catalog, including classics like "Under The Milky Way" and "The Unguarded Moment." Founded in 2011 by Auckland-based musician and former MOCKERS guitarist Paul Lightfoot, not The Church...but damn close has earned recognition for his authentic reproductions of The Church's distinctive sound. Paul's 'Live' performances combine his own meticulously crafted backing tracks with live electric guitars and vocals, resulting in a rich, immersive sonic experience.
