Rapira Fitness Ltd are back and presenting the Crowded House Bar & Eatery Taranaki Explosion #22 on Saturday 5th December 2026 at TSB Stadium.

Doors open at 5pm, the first bout is at 6pm. There will be amazing co-main events on this card. In the main corporate bout rugby league legend Sione Faumuina will take on local rugby union player Leighton Price. Leighton played for the Taranaki Bulls and was a Māori All Black. Also on this stellar card we have undefeated local police officer Waitohu Rapira-Ngarewa taking on Rishon Harris of Queenstown. They will contest for the Pro-Box Super-Featherweight New Zealand title.

9x other corporate boxing fights between well-known locals will complete a stellar card. Don’t blink on the amazing line-up!

Event promoter Sam Rapira says that this boxing event at the TSB Stadium is a one-of-a-kind operation. The locals really get behind the contestants and the energy in the stadium on the night is always electric!
