Lake Farm Garden is open by appointment only and is available for weddings, family gatherings, corporate events, and other celebrations.

This established private garden has a backbone of mature trees, the lake lapping on one side, the homestead and wedding barn in one corner, and then a rambling country mixture of roses, rhododendrons, irises, azaleas and in summer, dahlias. This is a wheelchair-friendly garden, almost all on one level, with places to sit and contemplate, places to smile and wonder why… it is a garden of quirks and surprising photo opportunities.

Lake Farm Garden has been a Park Over Property (POP) for the NZ Motorhome Association for 15 years and welcomes caravans and motorhomes of all sizes. There are a few powered sites and lots of space for those travellers who are fully self-sufficient.
