Access to the Mangamahoe Mountain Bike Park is from Plantation Road, and the facilities include a public toilet, several picnic areas and a bike wash station.

Popular family trails include Kiwi Kids, Sinclair’s, HiHi, and Fantail. For more thrills you should try Track the Ripper, Mandatory, Stumpy’s Mayhem, Highway to Hell and Cash-Flow. There is also a largely gravel road route that loops around the Lake Mangamahoe with some great scenic views along the way. And another excellent bike park access option is to ride from town through Burgess Park, Meeting of Waters and Hydro Road.
