Peihana Farm provides a spray free local produce delivery service direct to consumers in Taranaki.

Produce is made or grown here in Okoki on our 9.5 acres or sourced from other small scale market and kitchen gardens predominantly in North Taranaki who are all growing or producing nuts, fruit, veges, herbs, preserves, cordials, eggs, honey, bread, bakes and handmade personal hygiene products (soap/shampoo bars)... and the list is growing.

Each week participating growers and producers in North Taranaki let me know what they have surplus and their products are then included on the list sent out to my customer base. Orders from customers are then captured in an automated Google sheet system and growers are advised of what they need to harvest for the following day. Customers receive freshly harvested or baked produce knowing they are supporting local and keeping $ in our local economy.

Peihana Farm is currently sourcing produce from 8-16 growers in North Taranaki depending on the season and keen to talk to anyone who is growing food naturally (in North Taranaki) and looking to establish a revenue stream by selling produce.

We also offer skill-based sustainable living workshops throughout the year to increase food resilience in the region. Learn How to Make topics include sourdough, cheese, preserves, herbal remedies, sausages etc or basic growing skills such as seed saving, composting, propagating, pruning etc.

Peihana Farm is an off-grid solar powered (6kVA) lifestyle block that has been developed over many years from bare grazing land, existing ponds, springs, regenerating bush block and a mature swamp forest to a productive property with multiple revenue streams. We have river flats, underground springs, volcanic ash and clay/papa soils. Water collection capacity is 80,000 litres so we are mindful of water use particularly in summer. Other eco-features include an Aquatron composting toilet system and greywater is integrated into the gardens using mulch basins.
