Our Wild About AI educational program teaches students about Aotearoa’s marine biodiversity and how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used in wildlife conservation. Students learn the basics of artificial intelligence, and make their own machine learning model to analyse wildlife camera footage. Visit wildlife.ai/demo for a demonstration.
Teachers have the opportunity to opt in to either teacher led, with the assistance of a WIldlfie.AI representative or have the program to be delivered in school by a WIldlife.AI representative with the support from the classroom teacher. Both options foster students and staff in developing skills around AI, conservation and how both interact to support Taranaki's local environment.
