Taranaki Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious two-vehicle crash on State Highway 43 in Toko that left one person critically injured.

Please help spread the word - Taranaki Police are investigating a serious crash in Toko and are appealing to the public for information to assist enquiries.

Police were called to the two-vehicle crash on State Highway 43 near the intersection of Skinner Road at around 6pm on Monday 8 June.

One person remains in hospital with serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Police are seeking information from anyone who saw a black 2005 Mazda Tribute station wagon or a white 2002 Holden Barina (the ones pictured here are indicative only - not the actual vehicles) travelling in or around Stratford, or along State Highway 43 around the time of the crash.

Police are also seeking any CCTV or dashcam footage covering State Highway 43, and would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the crash who has not yet spoken with Police.
