🏉 The breakdancing days are over for Scott Robertson, with New Zealand Rugby dropping a bombshell this morning that the head coach has been sacked effectively immediately. The decision comes after a brutal end-of-season review for 2025. While "Razor" arrived with high hopes, the results just haven't stuck.
The rumour mill is already spinning, but one name is leading the pack: Jamie Joseph. The former Highlander and Japan coach is currently at short odds to take the top job. He’s already in the system, having coached the All Blacks XV during their northern tour last year.
Other names being floated include Vern Cotter, currently with the Blues, and Dave Rennie, who was controversially dumped by the Wallabies before the last World Cup. Joe Schmidt is also in the mix, though he’s currently tied up with the Wallabies until the end of the Nations Championship.
