⛔🚘 Traffic is backed up in the New Plymouth CBD this morning as SH44 between Liardet & Egmont Streets remains blocked off by Police, along with the Centre City carpark, due to an incident that took place late yesterday afternoon near the Wind Wand.

There is speculation on social media about a death occurring in the area as the result of a fight, however Police have not yet confirmed anything regarding the incident.
