The 2026 ASB New Zealand 10km Road & Walks Championships come to New Plymouth. And there's a race for everyone.

Championship races are open to registered members of Athletics NZ-affiliated clubs across all age grades, from Under 14 through to Masters 35+. The 5km race is for runners chasing a PB, looking for a run with friends or keen to experience the thrill of running on closed roads. And the 2.5km race is for the kids to have fun and enjoy their own finish-line moment!
