Join us at the band rotunda in Pukekura Park as New Plymouth hosts the Central Districts and Wellington Brass Band contest.

Part of the contest includes presentation of a March... A musical march.

Nine bands putting their best foot foward to outshine the rest.

The first band is expected to play at 1pm with the last band completed by 2pm.

If you'd like to see more of the contest, you will find us at NPGHS. Doors open Saturday 10.30-12.30, 2.15-5pm.

Sunday 9am-2.30pm. Sunday is an entertainment program and highly recommended.

Free entry, donations accepted but not necessary.
