Demolition ProgressInfrastructure Metro Plaza
Progress photos show the ongoing demolition of Metro Plaza.

Demolition work is continuing at the former Metro Plaza site in New Plymouth’s CBD, as the building is removed to make way for the next stage of the Huatoki Stream daylighting project.

The wider project is planned to reconnect Devon and Brougham streets with a new green space, footbridge and commercial development. These photos capture the scale of the demolition work and the changing view through the central-city site.
