🐰 Taranaki is in for a dry and settled Easter weekend, with forecasts predicting fine weather and comfortable temperatures from Good Friday right through to Easter Monday.

☀️ Friday 3 April (Good Friday): Fine with northwesterlies developing for a time in the afternoon. 20°C high, 12°C low.

☀️ Saturday 4 April (Holy Saturday): Mainly fine with the chance of a shower from evening. Northeasterlies, easing for a time in the afternoon and evening. 20°C high, 13°C low.

☀️ Sunday 5 April (Easter Sunday): Cloud clearing and becoming fine in the morning. Light winds. 21°C high, 13°C low.

☀️ Monday 6 April (Easter Monday): Fine. Easterlies developing in the morning. 22°C high, 14°C low.

This forecast reflects the region's history of high sunshine hours, with climate data recently confirming Taranaki had the highest annual sunshine hours nationwide for 2025.

Note: Daylight saving also ends this weekend, with clocks rolling back one hour at 3am on Sunday.
