A raft of drainage work will take place in four locations along State Highway 3 between Burgess Hill and Midhirst, starting on Tuesday 18 August.
NZTA says the work will maintain and improve drainage along this section of SH3, helping protect the road and keep it in good condition.
The work will be carried out under stop/go traffic management and shoulder closures, with delays of between 5 and 15 minutes expected.
SH3 Norfolk between Dudley Road Upper and Norfolk Road Upper:
Crews will be working on this stretch of SH3 on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 August, weather permitting. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm each day.
SH3 Junction Road between Welbourn Terrace and Junction Street:
Crews will be working on this stretch of SH3 next Thursday 20 and Friday 21 August, weather permitting. Work will take place between 4am and 4pm each day.
SH3 at Burgess Park between Holly Oak Terrace and Egmont Road:
Crews will be working on this stretch of SH3 next Friday 21 and Monday 24 August. Work will take place between 8am and 5pm each day.
SH3 at Midhirst between Egmont Street and Monmouth Road:
Crews will be working on this stretch of SH3 between Tuesday 25 August and Monday 31 August, weather permitting. Work will take place Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 5pm each day.
In the event of adverse weather, work will be postponed to the next suitable day.
